Child Development Milestones Seminar with Dr. Binu George

March 13, 2018

10:30am - 12pm at Dots&Links Center

Development of a child is a process which is time bound and encoded in the genetic information encoded in our chromosomes. It is also influenced by external influences that surround the upbringing of a child.Nevertheless, the most common presentation of a developmental disability is failure to achieve age-appropriate developmental milestones. Prompt recognition of the various clues of developmental delays leads to early detection and appropriate treatment and hence can lead to minimising the ill effects of any such process. If you would like to know about the normal developmental milestones and red flag signs to look out for then please come along to our seminar for parents.

Dr. Binu George is a Consultant Paediatrician with specialist expertise and qualifications in Paediatric Neurodevelopment and Neurodisability. He was practicing as a Paediatric Neurodisability Consultant in the UK before moving to the UAE and currently is practicing at both the Jumeirah (Dubai) and Khalidiya (Abu Dhabi) clinics for King’s College Hospital Limited. He is committed to increasing awareness about various developmental delays especially Autism amongst parents and medical professionals alike. He considers the advocacy role for children of determination as his professional and personal mission.
